Is it possible to earn residual income as a working musician? Yes it is, especially if you find the right resources to use for earning money through your musical endeavors.

Of course the obvious way to earn monthly residual income with music is to have your tunes all over the airwaves bringing in constant money. Although this is a lofty ambition, it can remain elusive to musicians for many years. So how can you earn residual income in the meantime?

Consider these way to make money as a musician without becoming a hit player:

  • Blog about music. Talk to the people who appreciate music through a blog and feature advertisements on your blog so you can earn residual income. Additionally, blogging about music gives you an opportunity to connect with other musicians and network.

  • Write an ebook about music that can be digitally delivered online with accompanying audio.

  • Participate in online audio and video websites and communities where new artists can feature their music and comment about the entries made by other musicians to network and gain an audience.

  • Become an affiliate marketer for musical products and earn a commission for every online sale.

You can still remain true to your passion for music while you earn residual income related to your favorite pastime for a future of financial freedom.
