Today’s tip is to include the Amazon affiliate program on your website or blog. Because Amazon is such a popular site, people know about it and feel secure buying books and other products from the Amazon website. While Amazon only pays about 5 percent of what you generate for them, which is lower than any other similar affiliate program in existence, it gives your website credibility and an additional resource for earning a few extra bucks.

Another great way to tie into Amazon is to blog about a particular book and then have it available for purchase right at your website. By writing ongoing reviews, you are certain to generate sales over time as you attract traffic to your website. You are offering your visitors valuable information and the convenience of being able to buy the book you are discussing right away at the end of your blog entry.

If you avoid spending time with banners and links and spend the majority of your time blogging about books and including the opportunity to buy them at your blog, your entries become more meaningful which will generate ongoing income for you.
