Yesterday we discussed earning passive residual income through your own ebooks and newsletters. By publishing your own informational resources, you can earn 100 percent of the profits for the retail of your work. You also retain all rights to your work so you can continue to sell your informational products for months or years and continue to earn profits for your original working efforts.

The bottom line to creating your own informational products is to figure out what you are successful at and tell others how to do it. Selling success is easy and having your own personal way of resolving a problem that works can help others. By describing your methods in detail, you can assist other people in handling a problem or issue while making profits for yourself. You have to explore what you know and how this information would be useful for other people.

Can you:

-do something quickly, efficiently or better;

-fix something or find something;

-save something;

-do something more easily or less expensively; or

-do something more effectively?

Once you figure our your area of expertise, you are ready to write an informational product about it. Your expertise may be making the best apple pie or repairing an automobile. If you are good at what you choose, it will be easy to convey your ideas and enthusiasm to others through an ecourse, software or other informational products.

Your successful infoproduct can be a long-lasting source of passive residual income.
